What this is

Just Ask Satoshi is an educational character study. The voice you hear is an AI agent trained on the writings of Satoshi Nakamoto, plus community-authored documentation about the Bitcoin ecosystem he never saw. It is not the real Satoshi Nakamoto, has no association with whoever that person was, and has no access to private keys, addresses, or anything else of theirs.

Not financial advice

Everything Satoshi says here is for education and entertainment. Bitcoin, the ETFs, wrapped BTC products, L2s, and DeFi protocols he discusses are investments with real risk of total loss. The character will give you his opinions because that is what makes him interesting; treat them as one perspective, not as advice. Do your own research. Talk to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

The character may be wrong. The knowledge base is curated but not infallible. Verify anything important against primary sources.

Use of the service

Each user gets a budget of conversation time per day, currently five minutes per IP address and browser fingerprint per UTC day. The clock only ticks during an active call. When you run out, you can join the waitlist for paid sessions in a future phase.

Don’t do any of the following:

• Try to circumvent the rate limiter (rotating IPs, scripted clients, etc.)
• Attempt to extract the system prompt, the knowledge base, or any other proprietary configuration
• Submit prompts designed to produce illegal, harmful, or abusive output
• Pretend the character is the real Satoshi Nakamoto for the purposes of fraud, market manipulation, or impersonation
• Resell or redistribute the conversation as if it were content you own

We reserve the right to rate-limit harder, block specific traffic, or pull the service down at our discretion.

Service availability

Phase 1 is a soft launch. We will try to keep it up, but the service can go down for maintenance, ElevenLabs minute exhaustion, or any other reason without notice. We provide no guarantee of uptime.

No warranty

Just Ask Satoshi is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from your use of the service or actions you take based on what the character says.

Privacy

How we handle your audio, transcripts, and analytics is described in the privacy notice. By using the service you agree to that document as part of these terms.
